Home Miscellaneous / One Offs Early Kenyon Sash

Early Kenyon Sash

This sash saw is patterned after an early Kenyon sash saw first sent to us to sharpen. Like the other early Kenyon patterns, we fell in love with the distinctive appearance. The more rounded transition from the front cheek up through the mortise for the back is very appealing. The lower bridge ending up in the lamb's tongue is more pronounced.

We believe the 13" blade length accommodates most furniture-scale work you will encounter. Tapered blade height has 3 1/2" usable depth at the toe and about 3 7/8" depth at the heel.

We use European Beech for the handles of these saw.
